So, in YOUR quest to go green, do you take the train to work or still insist on travelling everywhere by car?
It can be tricky to get the balance right between convenience and helping the environment. For example, civil engineers are supposed to take into the account the environmental impact when designing new transportation systems, but what they can’t do is force people to use it; this is up to us.
Here in the UK, the trains can be very expensive, crowded and unreliable.
So, here’s a novel video to get you thinking about the environmental choices you make every day.
It’s called ‘Train Track’ and is from Happy Hour Productions…
Good stuff!

i saw your video.it’s good question [ do you take the train to work or still insist on travelling everywhere by car? ] If you’re looking for a safe and easy-going route for all the family, or perhaps if you haven’t cycled for a long time, then opt for one of the mostly level and traffic-free ‘railway trails’ that criss-cross the hills. But if you’re after a challenge and want to get off-road then we’ve got a range of mountain bike routes; or check out our ‘energetic’ section for longer rides around peaceful and scenic country lanes.
Been a long time since I used my bike (in fact, it’s in pieces in my garage).
You’ve got quite a choice of routes – sounds energetic!
Thanks for the comment.
